My head is spinning worse than an out-of-control winder. I have a Spitfire Perpetual (Ref 3757, cal 79261) that I like to keep on a winder. The renown Orbita database lists it as 800 turns per day, clockwise. A well-known horologist mentioned that watches should never spin in one direction as the lubrication is not evenly distributed. If I switch the settings to 800 bi-directional, the watch stops. Anyone have any thoughts on watch winder settings for IWC 7750-based perpetuals?
Thank you in advance
