I am looking to purchase a watch winder for my annual calendar and aquatimer, but getting really confused between all the various brands and makes.
Should I go for a winder with a Swiss motor, underwood or kubic, or a Japanese motor fitted in the hillwood or wolf units.
The unit needs to be quiet in operation and look smart too!
Any guidance would be appreciated!
I'm a fan of the latest wolf ones because they are quiet & programmable and look nice. IWC used to offer IWC rebranded wolf ones as gifts - and if it's good enough for them, well...

I use the new wolf double winder for my IWC pilot chrono. Very quiet and can run on D batteries for 6 months. Amazon has great deals on them.

Hello Markella and welcome to the forum. I really like the Kubik winders although the sales and support in the US is atrocious. I like that they are compact, really high quality, can be fully programmed (exact number of rotations per day and direction) and look gorgeous. They operate forever on C batteries, are silent and will easily fit in a safe. And Swiss made.
