Not far from the IWC booth, there was the "LAB", a place where different
    brands showcased some new developments.

IWC showed us two new straps, each in a different fabric, alternatives for
    leather straps.

There was the Timbertex and the Miratex, the two straps were very nice. Theu
got a lot of attention from the visitors.

In the search for more sustainable materials, we have now the Miratex: patent
owned by IWC, but they will release it after 6 months so others can use the
same sustainable straps. Hat off to IWC, wel done.

Next to the straps, we saw a demonstration of the cyberloupe, an IWC
development. Still a work in progress with more improvements to come.

With AI, the cyberloupe will recognize the different parts, can number them
and recognize if these parts are up for a change .

Thanks for the interesting info that we who did not attend W&W would not see
    or know.

Thanks Tonny. I really admire the way IWC innovates with materials and strives
for a more sustainable future. Congratulations to not only the team behind
this research and development, but also to the business for opening that
patent after six months so all can benefit! Bravo!!!
