A photo tour of my recent journey to Geneva to visit fellow IWC forum members and the great people at IWC at Watches and Wonders 2025:

As they have for many years, IWC invited some collectors to experience the launch of the 2025 IWC novelties at Watches and Wonders. It is an electric time in Geneva, with so much excitement in the air. As there were only 10 forum collectors invited this year, I am especially grateful and fortunate to have been able to join this amazing group.

Here are my impressions from the Watches and Wonders experience that I am so happy to be able to share.

    Part I:

After some delays, finally leaving London!

And a fight through the afternoon traffic to get to a quiet part of town.

Saw that Georges Kern had already arrived!

And all settled in! So nice to be back in Geneva!

The next morning, excited to be on the shuttle to Palexpo!

    Entrance to W&W.

And there it is, the IWC booth!

This year the focus of the booth was the new upcoming F1 film, and the watches showcased in and influenced by the movie starring Brad Pitt. It was very cool to se the various cars and equipment used in the film production.

Fantastic drinks and movie-themed cocktails. I especially enjoyed the mocktail, "Apex."

And there were some amazing watches on display!

And the people. My first IWC executive encounter was with the amazing Dr David Seyffer! So wonderful to see you!

And the always gracious and delightful Deborah (iwcgirl).

    More to come...

    Part II:

    That's how she does it!

And that's how he does it;)

And the best part of these international meetings is getting to see all of you fellow collectors again!!!

And the food is always a treat at W&W!

And you newer know who you might see!

Our collector's dinner was held at restaurant Vieux Bois at the Ecole Hôtelière Genève. Our dinner was preared by students of the school, up-and-coming Micheline chefs. Similar to the watchmaking apprentices of Schaffhausen;)

A silver Porsche assembled in Schaffhausen made an appearance.

And of course, there was the obligatory table shot.

    More to come...

    Part III:

The following morning we met at the booth for a tour with Dr David Seyffer and a special welcome from IWC CEO Chris Grainger-Herr. And then it was onto the watches. We were shown a special room where boxes of the new releases laid in wait...

OK, not a new release. But I couldn't pass on an opportunity to try on Hannes' Grand Comp (his daily wear)!

Oh my. This one really blew me away.

And back out to the bar to talk over all we had seen.

Then off to one of the on-site conference rooms to discuss all kinds of things IWC (along with some delicious snacks).

At the end of the day we were able to relax in a private area in the rear of the IWC booth, a great place to gather and talk.

To round out the collector's day, we enjoyed everything on the menu at the famous Café de Paris.

What a way to finish off about as great a day as you can possibly have with such fine folks in Geneva!
