Due to the large cloud of ashes over Europe, the Aviation sector suffers from loss of income and thousands of travelers are stranded.

To morally support them, I am wearing my BP today. Anybody else who wants to join?

Kind regards and have a good Sunday,

    Clemens

    Supporting the oldies

Living in the North East of the Netherlands we don't see much of the big planes, although we have an airport in the neighbourhood for smaller planes. In the past they disturbed a quiet sunday showing banners, making noice to make you look up. But that stopped some years ago. I support the aviation business in my old fashioned way, making this post for the time being three out of three for Holland, if nobody posted in between. Enjoy your weekend!

    Kind regards,
Paul, wearing steel VC Pilot's watch

....Good Idea, Clemens. Even with all our technology. Mother Nature still rules the earth.

    Do you Play Go?

    Hi tracy,

I did play Go several years ago. Great game, too bad I don't have enough time to keep doing it.

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

    That makes two of us

I know the game about forty years now and played it a lot. On a Dutch team championship representing our club in Groningen I once wore my new titanium quartz GST Chrono, nobody noticed: bummer. Yes, a great game, several years I had this text on my screen saver: "Play go, a joy forever". Now my screen saver shows the picture of this site showing the platinum Portuguese Perpetual Calendar: I think that is close enough to the truth.

    Kind regards,

I think I am going to get me a brown Buffalo strap

Great pictures and I really like that strap on the BP. I think it's about time I get a brown strap myself.

    Kind regards,

    Nice idea Cinq,

sure joining, being in aviation myself (different region though, which is a good thing rigth now)

However, from the recent news about volcano ash it looks like only Big Pilots with 7-days power reserve might be able to see end of it...

    No travels until May...

March was frantic with a long haul flight per week. May will be busy too. In the meantime, I am enjoying skies free of vapour trails and great dust-hued sunsets together with display back IWCs.
