Well, good to you, Peter, and welcome here. The watch is really amazing, and I like the brown strap version too, it looks a bit more dressy with it. So, enjoy it!

The softly brushed bracelet is a bit more sporty, I wanted to have an alternative when "doing sports". OK, when walking the mountains with sun tan oil and sweat, those not being ideal for a beautiful strap. The super easy micro adjustment feature is such a handy bonus, I discovered this afternoon, sitting in the mountain train back to the village, with thick wrists after a hot hike. Two extra stops, no less. And in the normal position right now again, when ready for dinner.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

    Paul,

I believe to know exactly what you mean. As you describe it, the micro adjustment reminds me a little about the Easy Link on my Rolex - a feature I'm always very glad about when on mountain trips (or simply on hot days, of course).

Sooner or later I probably get the bracelet as well. Havn't seen it live but on pictures, it seems to look great! We'll see... For me, the leather strap is a nice break to the bracelets I usually have.

Plus, the strap on the iw387802 has one huge advantage over the bracelet: It smells great, like real fine leather should! Hope it keeps that way at least for a couple of days :-)

    Cheers
    Peter

Gornergrat perhaps? Beautiful place for a hike with a beautiful watch.

Yes, Gornergrat indeed. Going up from Riffelberg to Gornergrat (1h21) and back (1h09), with the most beautiful scenery and weather. The need to concentrate, to literally watch your step. Great lunch at the top. Those are the top days. With a top watch: you start to notice bracelets all around you (most of my watches have straps), and mine certainly looks best all the time!

    Kind regards,
    Paul
