Any other fans here of the dopplechronographs ?
Yesterday, the ref 3713 came into the collection. I had already the 3711 , the
first pilot dopplechronograph. This one was only made for 4 years between 1991
and 1995, the ref 3713 was introduced in 1996. I saw somewhere that there were
only 3200 ref 3711 made.
The main differences are the crystal and the bezel.
The other pilot doppelchronoograph is the ref 371806 , the Spitfire model.
The strap is a special strap in red leather, only available in the boutique in
Zurich, it is the same red leather as the leather in the Mercedes SL on
display.
The last one is the GST in titanium, ref 3715, for me a perfect sportswatch.
I guess I am not the only collector here with a dopplechronograph.
