what a full spa can do with a watch (IWC 3707)
I brought my car to the garage and saw one of the mechanics working on my car
with an IWC watch.
A conversation naturally started. Eventually I was able to take over the
timepiece from this car mechanic. He had bought it five years ago and has not
been finished since. He had worn it continuously (even while tinkering) in his
garage.
It was in a "very intensively used" state and actually he initially did not
want to renounce it. But after I came to collect my car, he had thought about
it and it came to a purchase. below the photos how I received the timepiece.
pay attention:
- the tritium dots are loose
- the damage to the steel band
- the dents in the cradle
- the damage to the dial due to moist and corrosion
- The dayindicator in german (had it changed in English)
of course it went to Schaffhausen for a very thorough SPA, which in my opinion
turned the watch inside out.
see whore the result. It was like brand new (!)
Much later I was fortunate
and could buy the white version, which luckily was in a better condition.
thanks for reading and watching
cheers
