    Hi guys!

I'm new here in this forum. To be honest i don't know anything about IWC or watches in general and thats kind of why i'm here. My uncle left me his watch. I don't why he did this, because i never wear watches and the last one i owned was a G-Shock when i was maybe 12 years old :-). Anyway i think it looks nice and i'm planning on wearing it, because he would have liked that.
Obviously i tried to find out what model and how old it is. While i found lots of models that looked very similar i couldn't find this exact one. Maybe you guys can help me.
It's an automatic chronograph with a steel band as u can see. On the back it just says International Watch Company Schaffhausen. I know the picture is quite bad, i had to take it with my cell phone.

I'd be very grateful if one of u could help me out with this!

    Regards, Mauro

Welcome to the Forum. The watch is a GST chrono which is 8 to 10 years old. A nice watch. Check the search function to see how to post pictures.

Thanks a lot. Do you by any chance know what it cost back in the day? I found very different prices from 3300 up to 9000 euros.

    Greetings

    Bienenmann:

I purchased a silver(white)-faced, steel GST Chrono Auto in Boston, Massachusetts, USA in 2003. I believe it had a list price of about $4000, but most dealers would take off 25%. I paid $3000.
