One with all the boxes checked!
One with all the boxes checked!
here is the watch.
well, I don[t know why, but when I try to post a picture of the watch, it
won't allow me.
I also don't know why the other picture turned sideways.
Well, the sideway ist not an issue.
If you want, sent me your photos and I will try to post them ?!
Because photos of that watch will be worth any effort !

Heiko
email sent, Heiko.
Thanks.
Your photo, Nelson:
There is an obvious answer to the question: TWO OCEAN BUNDS
Too bad I don't have any.
Thanks for posting, I love the pictures

Lovely Nelson
I love the bund ...... pd beauty!!!
Well, Nelson, I guess there's nothing better than a documented BUND, with an
Apple logo in reverse between the 8 and 9 markers! Ha! I have a heck of a time
trying to get photos of watches without reflections.
That watch, even though it is not a chronograph, is BEAUTIFUL! My civilian
issue is my favorite non-chronograph watch. I would love to have a Bund Ocean,
but there is too much to learn about identifying the real deal. I don't know
the numbers produced, but it reminds me of an expression in the collector
world: There were 300 examples manufactured, but only 500 remain. Sometimes I
feel that is the same for the Bund! But having documentation makes everything
better, just like you said! Congratulations, it's a fabulous example.
Interesting watch and topic.
An older article about PD by IWC boxes/tools is still on my server.
Could be perhaps interesting for PD by IWC fans ?!

Very nice watch and highly collectable.
Indeed... only made better with "box 'n papers".
Thanks for sharing, and to Hebe for his support in getting the pictures
posted.
At least two would be better :-)
My favorites are the models with 3H dials. So, a comparison why:
HEBE, need to agree 100% with you.... if you can only have one then thats the
one, Against this as you say : Ät least two would be better".
Very nice...and yes, what's better ;)
That's another Forum..........
I love the Bund Nelson, big congrats - and I want one like Hebe with the 3H,
maybe my wish will come true one day :-)
Fabulous watch, Nelson.
The considerations of 'time exposure' are valid..
Almost every 'Bund' has gone to avid collectors and the remaining available
are not always fake but marriages of different Oceans and Bunds.
In the view of purist collectors these are without value. Documentation is a
must. If somebody wants to buy one, there are several collectors on the forum
who can help with identification as they know the Nato Stock Numbers or so
called 'Versorgungsnummer', not only of the different watches but also from
the bracelets, the links for the Velcro attachments, the white pvc watch boxes
and the screwdrivers.
A number of years ago an extensive article has been published on the Forum
about all different Bunds. However, I cannot find it back anymore but I do
have an electronic copy..
