    Sure - let's start out with an easy one. You experts will quickly recognize this movement component - what is it? Don't you think it's pretty? What calibre is it from? What function does it enable?

    Rattrapante module from the 3712...some kind..

    brake I think.

    Martin - love seeing that Cal. 76240...

    Yes. Way too easy. Here are a couple other images from the archives related to this topic.

    Terry Russell (Missing In Action) posted the first photo some time ago of his 3712's cal. 76240 being serviced - once all the parts were disassembled. You can see the rattrapante components in the upper-left of the montage.

    I just love the curves of those "brake arms" - very feminine - and that large, blued-steel cam for the reset function - just fantastic.
