Yeah, that previous post wasn't quite fair.

I hope you will settle for these few quick and dirties. I'll get a full set of photos taken over the weekend and post them by Monday. The trick is to stop my hands from shaking. I'm pretty excited over these.

I went weak in the knees when I was offerred both of these

Just as gorgeous as its more frequently seen wrist version brother. I think the only other time I''ve even seen the pocket watch version was at the Collector Meeting in Schaffhausen.

The Portuguieser I always wanted but thought I''d never own.

    Both are exceptional

Please, stop shaking, start admiring. That pocket watch lends quite a different dimension to the Portofino, I like it very much. About as much as the Portuguese with its characteristic numbers: that really is a timeless beauty. And still without red accents, great. Enjoy!

    Kind regards,
Paul, wearing steel VC Pilot's watch

Wow, stunning additions to your collection!

Congratulations Dick, I am looking forward to more pictures! Enjoy en wear them in good health.

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

PS: I just realized that it's much easier to wear many pocket watches than wrist watches. I have seen fishermen wearing stuff with at least ten pockets that all easily can hold a pocket watch :-)

That was well worth the trip!...

Congratulations on the kind of "twofer" that would make my whole decade! They are beautiful IWC's, Dick!

    Best regards,

These two are very nice indeed,

I am surprised by the size of the pocket watch. It looks like it would easily fit on the wrist.
Two great pickups. Enjoy them as I know you will.

    Absolutely gorgeous, Dick.

I knew the Pisa was on its way to you, but not the PW. Congratulations and when you stop shaking, relax and enjoy.
