Which IWC family is your favorite, the family that make's you feel like home?
    1 Da vinci
    2 Ingenieur
    3 Pilot's
    4 Portugieser
    5 Portofino
    6 Aquatimer
    7 All of them

My favorite family is the Aquatimer.
Robust, cool watches that makes me feel home, i can use it in every occasion, dont matter if im in the ocean, playing with my kids or going to restaurant the watch is always right.
    Here's a few pictures

    Nice Aquatimer!
I'm going to say Aquatimer for me as well, although I am very fond of Pilot watches as well

I will have to say the Pilot family. I have watches from the other series also - except the Da Vinci and Portofino lines.

For me, it divides into three groups:

1 Portugiesers and Pilot's Watches. Both product lines have lots of models from past and present that I really like. IMHO, these are the product lines, where IWC has really nailed it with successful concepts and consistent execution.

2 Ingenieurs and Aquatimers. Some very nice models every now and then in the past, but nothing really exiting in the current lineup. As product lines, they lack commitment to a clear design concept.

3 Portofinos and DaVincis. I like the new DaVinci Chronograph Laureus LTE, but otherwise, these product lines have never really been to my liking.

My favorite IWC family is for sure the Pilots line. I like them a lot!
But, sinds i have my Aquatimer i have to say that this watch gets the most wrist time.
If i had to choose between these two it would be difficult.

Fortunately I do not have to choose and can wear them whenever I want.

    My list would be:
    1 Pilot watches’s
    2 Aquatimer
    3 Portugieser
    4 (New) Ingenieur
    5 New Da Vinci
    6 Portofino

It is quite funny, that after the latest presentation of the Ingenieur line, I asked myself the same question. I tried to narrow it down, asking myself if I would like to buy a watch out of one of these families if I would have to start all over buying at least one watch.

    1. Portuguese. This is the only family I would buy a watch from right now, with the collection I have: the white dial 8 days handwound, which is a perfect, and perfect looking dress watch. When starting all over I certainly would look at a perpetual calendar, and a Yacht Club, the chrono or the worldtimer.
    2. Pilot's watch. One of these watches would do perfectly as a sports watch. I instantly would rebuy the blue Mark XVIII, I might even look at the Big Pilot perpetual calendar.

    3. and 4. Portofino and Da Vinci. Interesting dress watches, but I would go for the Portuguese family.

    4. and 6. Aquatimer and Ingenieur. Compared to the other families the watches of these two families are unattractive to me (Aquatimer) or leave me indifferent (Ingenieur). If at all in need of a diver's watch, I would rebuy both the Blancpain Fifty Fathoms and the Blancpain Bathyscaphe.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

I definitely have the greatest affinity for the pilot range, primarily the older models. The Mark XV is one of my all-time favorite watches. I'm wearing it as I type this...

If Pilot chronographs had count-up turning bezels I would name the Pilot line. Now I name the Aquatimers (chronographs). Despite this I have two watches from both families... (3719 and 3767 vs. 3706 and 3705) Portofinos and Da Vincies rock my boat the least.
    So, in order:
    1.-2. Aquatimer and Pilot
    3. Portugieser
    4. Ingy
    5. Portofino
    6. Da Vinci

Hi, good question but for me:
    1. Portuguese: can be classic or rather sporty (chronos)
    2. Pilots
    3. Ingenieur

    Regards,
