Hi, i am very new to watches so i don't really understand much, however, my
grandfather gave me his old IWC watch and i just generally want to learn more
about it, when was it made, what is the name of it etc. The most interesting
part of the watch is the signature on the bottom side, after i did some
research of my own, i found out it is the signature of former Yugoslav
president Tito which makes sense because my grandfather was quite a prominent
diplomat and business man during Yugoslavian times and i wanted to learn if
there are any other watches like this, and also how valuable something like
    this could be?

    Hi LUKANENADIC,

the watch in your postis a IWC Reference 2403, manual wound, coming with
Calibre family 40x. Cased in 18ct yellow gold. This reference was made in the
    beginning of te 70ties.

You find some ore examples on the web by searching for "IWC 2403".

I hae seen this case back engraving before, good to know teh story behind.

It seems to be in excellent condition.
