I overheard a long conversations among three German families, older gentlemen and ladies, about the relative value of and desire for luxury watches. I was fascinated by their discussion. At first they debated Omega and the watches from Herr Hayek.
After discussing several brands, the general conclusion as best I could understand listening to them in German, was that the best brand to own was IWC. They continued talking about IWC for some time. I could not see what was on their wrists, but I certainly hope it is our favorite brand. I did not approach them as my German would not be adequate to tell them about my love of the brand.
The wrist shot of what I was wearing at the time was from a few days ago. The Apfelstrudel with warm vanilla sauce was from today and is definitely is gone now. : ).
