Congratulations - the pure classic is beautiful. Not quite as beautiful as the subject of your "Nad shot" but still quite nice. :) Seriously, that watch demonstrates the appeal of simplicity. Enjoy.
Thanks Vishal. Have been eyeing the 500107 for a while now. Next trip, and I will get it. Problem is I have a thin wrist, anything above 40mm looks a bit odd on me (trying to build them, hopefully soon). Was lucky to get an IWC Portofino last year (40mm). Thanks for sharing, and a good collection. Cheers. MK
I am so glad that my intuition was correct and that you had a reveal to make and that it was a " classic ". That is a really magnificemt watch and such a memorable trip too. Congratulations !
I thought I read somewhere in the forum that it is 1 in 500 Black Dial and 1 500 White dial watches ? Correct me if I am wrong please.
Vishal, what an excellent posting, and fantastic reveal!
MF, I and a select few lucky others welcome you to the Pure Classic owners club :~)
Only discussion point is that Nad shot. I trust that you have complied by the rules (revision B - release I) of taking Nad Shots.....all photos' to be taken at RED LIGHTS only
@ Cinq - that cable-way is another bit of Swiss Precision there. It was an amazing project to build it and the Swiss cable-way engineers faced a number of challenges when building it.
Are we all not oh so happy at Swiss mechanical engineering prowess!
Mark I am glad you enjoyed the post. Now I understand why Shing praised your sense of humor !. Thank you for posting the great shot of the pure classic movement. Let me also take this opportunity to congratulate you for the article in the IWC magazine. I am awaiting my copy.
