YACHT CLUB, Is this fake or authentic?

Could you help me confirm if this timepiece is authentic or not, please?

Appears to be a fake to me. But, the real experts will comment. I don't think the Club series were chronographs and the dial design is all wrong.

They could have done everyone a favour and labelled it "Yot Club"

Ben, Of course, I forgot the recent iteration of the Club IWC's. I was thinking 1970's vintage. But, you are spot on that this one is a fake.

Thank you all for your comments. No, I didn't buy it but unfortunately, it was in an online auction and it was sold for uncheap price.
