    The below watch is being auctioned currently by a fairly reputable auction house (not ebay) and I don't think it is real.

    The case is brass and all the plating has worn off, I thought all WWW were stainless steel. Also the numbers on the back don't look right (they are nothing like my other WWW)

    Would appreciate the opinion of my more knowledgeable and experienced forum members.

    My guess: no
    Dial/ crown/ case/ case-back are not real: stay away!

    Hi,
    the logo, Schaffhausen print and other details look odd. Far away from being an expert but I would not buy it.

    No, it's not real. Back engravings are off too (even the broad arrow).

    The caseback (and probably the mid-case) is from a Buren WWW...
