    Hi everybody,

I tried the search function, but it didn't yield anything useful. Maybe I used the wrong search terms, so apologies if this topic has been discussed before. My question is whether - although they don't have any reference to it on their website I could find - IWC would do custom engravings on a case back. If yes, would it only be for a new watch ordered through an AD or can I send them an existing watch? If this is at all possible, I would be grateful for any tips on how to go about it.

    Thanks

    Hello Dénes

"Thanks to modern engraving techniques, the range of options offered by IWC in this area is virtually unlimited. Practically any request for specific changes to customize a watch can be executed to perfection."

Although there are no details on how you might go about having a watch engraved, it certainly appears to be an option. You might start with an AD but may have better luck with a boutique.

    Hi Denes,
I think Ben has given good advice. When many of us had our CF3's engraved, it was primarily arranged through the Boutiques. IWC's capacity for providing quality engraving is a fact to which I can attest. I had the good fortune to tour the engraving operation in a visit to the IWC factory.
