Happy New Year one and all. A special thanks to our Moderator.

As 2011 draws to a close, I want to extend a great big thanks to our Moderator for an exemplary job during a year with some challenges for the forum. MF has guided us through a change in the Forum format and functionality, a spam attack, and the consolidation of the English and German forums with grace and style.

Thanks too to IWC and the IWC staff, who work on this venue, for hosting the best watch forum on the web. There is no other place like this to learn, to meet and develop lasting relationships, and to share our passions. It is great to see some of the original members who were absent for a bit returning to share their knowledge with us.

I am excitedly looking forward to the 2012 Pilot’s watch introductions at SIHH. I see a new IWC in my future this year. Those of you attending SIHH, please post your pictures and comments as soon as you have time at the end of very busy days in Geneva.

Happy New Year to all my forum friends whether we have met in person or not. This is an alternate life for me. May each of you have a healthy and prosperous 2012.

This is the place to be if you love IWC! I also want to thank Michael for a great year and express appreciation for his matchless moderation and leadership through major transition. The result has been an expanded membership and an opportunity to appreciate the contribution of old friends. The watches are sublime, but the people...how fortunate I am to be a participant and have friends in this community!

I read through the forum daily. Although I hardly post comments, I like it and the people making it a lot.

Dear MF and all my IWC friends - I found a new family in 2011 - you all!!!

That in itself says it all really - this forum, under the impeccable managemnet of IWC and MF, and with so much knowledge, friendliness, warmth and caring from all you participants, has become a daily must for me. My day is simply not complete without a visit to my friends here.

I hope you, your families and your collections will have a peacful and prosperous 2012 - and I hope to get to meet some of you in person as well :-)
