Dear Forum Members, I wanted to share with you this Hermet (picture below) which I own for my flieger collection. It is 37 mm in diameter, cream dial, manual wind, I assume that there is cal.83 inside the case. I will order a certificate from IWC but until then I'm interested if anyone knows more than me about the watch, the information I've been able to find so far that these Hermets are actually around 30-35mm in diameter and they look mostly very aged but the here the dial managed to stay in mint condition. Also the dealer mentioned that this watch is from 60's, aren't these Hermet cases actually come from 40's? There is nothing written on the back of the case ( I don't know about the inside of the case ) and also there is no "Swiss Made" on the dial but I know that these specs are common for those days.

Hope to hear what you can tell me about this piece. Thank you

Just curious --why do you believe this case is a Hermet if there's nothing on the outside of the case?

Also, if someone can get the case opened for you (like a watchmaker) hopefully you can get numbers or even a photo of the inside case back. We can tell more then.

Michael, thank you for your reply. During my research I've found a few articles showing the same case, they call it Hermet, this was the reason. I also found out that the most of these cases don't have any writings on the back of the case. For sure, the best way is to open the case, I took it to the IWC boutique but they need to send the vintage pieces to Schaffhausen to be opened so before doing that I may ask my watchmaker to open the case to get the numbers.
