I was always wearing my watches on the left wrist. It even never came so far to my mind to put my watch on my right wrist.

Don't ask me why, but the day before yesterday I put my BP on my right wrist. In the very first moment it felt kind of uncomfortable and unease. But that was just an instance, which was substituted by feelings like: "wow, this feels really heavy. It is massive. It is so nice".

Well, I looked at it the whole day, and yesterday dressed it again on the right wrist. And again it was a very special pleasure the whole day.

Wearing it on the left wrist, it gives me more the feeling of a big and very powerful elegance, it is like a Ferrari California, spreading the message of "I could be very powerful if I would want to".
Whereas wearing it on the right wrist it gives me the feeling of pure untamed power, mixed with a bit of cruelty, like a Lamborghini Countach.

I think I will try today to wear another of my IWCs on the right wrist and check if it is again a different experience.

Did anyone of you had as well completely different experiences in wearing the IWC left or right?

    Hi Giovanni,
I tried the right wrist a few times, Mostly in order not to get "hurt" by B.P.'s big crown. For me it was not comfortable. I prefer my left wrist.

But I know some left-handers who, of course, always wear their watches at right.

    Best regards

    Robert

    Ciao Giovanni,

I have been wearing my watches on the right wrist for many years now. Since I am also right handed, I am always more aware that my watch is always there.

Of course I am always more careful when using my right hand, but it just feels so right!!!!!!!!!!!

I've also been known to wear watches on BOTH wrists, as many here have also done, LOL!!!!!!!!!

Wearing watches on both wrists is indeed the way to go :-)

Nad: your wrist shots are amazing and knowing you are right-handed makes it even more amazing!

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

I like to switch wrists from left to right when I'm sitting next to my wife in the car when she is driving.

This is a situation where I can have a good look at the watch - but in a (for me) unusual perspective. I find it especially nice to see the crown and the pushers on my chronos, which normally I can't see as well.

It is always a bit surprising to me how different the same thing looks on the right wrist.

However, after a while I find it uncomfortable, and switch back to left.

    Cheers
    Peter

@ Giovanni, another benefit of persevering and getting used to this right wrist mode....you have more space on your left wrist for your dive computer, if the Aquatimer is on your right wrist:-)

Yesterday I was wearing my Regulateur on the right wrist, and it did not feel on that wrist as good as the BP. The Regulateur goes for me clearly on the left wrist.

Does it probably depend on the watch whether I should wear it left or right?
I'll try today the AT on the right wrist.
