London GTG with Jarrod

Fresh from a red-eye flight from Los Angeles, Jarrod and Steff landed in London and within hours we mobilized for our Welcome to London GTG.

Happy to be in the sunshine as ironically it was raining in LA!

The London gtg is a must for those passing through that great city.

I arrived at the meeting point early having killed some time in an auction house and relaying hammer prices to a good friend.
Jarrod and Steff were next to arrive followed by my two London hosts. We did a walk to Burlington and Royal Arcades off Piccadilly before walking up Bond Street to the boutique then a drink or two. The general consensus of the London team that we envied J & S taking 18 months off and living out of a suitcase. Doing it on a gap year maybe fun earning a few £$¥€ wherever but these two are able to do it in a bit more style and being that much older being able to appreciate things with a different perspective to those in teens and ex Uni 20s age group! Anyone who remembers that experience will remember that you missed a lot because it wasn't cool, wasn't involving the opposite sex and other such things that teens find interesting!
