    During dinner this evening finally my better half asked the question that I have been waiting for patiently.

    As normal I play it James Dean cool - for a few seconds- until I retire casually (aka sprinting) to the office to find "the Santa Claus list that I never write each year".

    Well - I am instructed to behave myself until the year end and see what may or may not be under the Weihnachtsbaum. With a round number birthday approaching next year I am perhaps silently hoping that there are no IWC gifts under the tree but gifts by definition are welcome and appreciated at anytime.

    Any plans for an IWC watch to appear under your tree this year ?

    Star, as in Siderale :~}

    Well one can wish no?

    Best regards

    Having tried on a magnificent 5251 just hours ago, I would have to say it would be that. A 500104 is not too far off either !

    I'm actually wondering the same thing. I tried on an Aquatimer Chrono with the white subdials a few hours ago at an AD. I bought a 5001 and a 3727 in the last three months. I'm trying to decide if I want to sell my PAM24L and buy the Aquatimer and go all IWC. Thoughts?

    On Xmas day we will be having lunch with friends. Our hosts place a small envelope containing a lottery ticket or scratch card for each guest. If and big if our numbers came up I would be after a Plat PPC, and if the numbers were that good then my wife would have her PP as well! But reality is another matter! What a lovely thought that we could all post pictures of our IWC presents or windfalls! LOL!

    Well, not exactly for Christmas but I am wishing that I get the new job I have interviewed for three times now - and that I get it BEFORE Christmas.

    If that happens my wife will get her new watch, unfortunately not an IWC as she thinks they are too big. But - wait for it - I will celebrate with another investment for myself in the new year!!

    So, fingers crossed everyone :o)
